A Music Affair
I have been waiting for the weekend to come since last Sunday evening – yes, that’s how much I need the weekends to catch up on sleep or to do something not so ‘common’… my celebrity reporting. Sometimes I wonder if I have a life outside of my day job and celebrity stalking – oh, I mean reporting. The answer? Simply put, no. This is all I know and thank the Pope it is a social activity otherwise I may need to have some people book me into a treatment resort far, far away to be checked up on.
One of the guys I am quite excited to meet tomorrow at the concert is surprisingly not the Locnville twins but rather the amazing guys that form The Graeme Watkins Project – mainly Graeme himself. Graeme was the runner-up of Idols: Season 5. He vowed to return to the stage and boy has he done just that! Since his Idols experience about two years ago he has definitely blown up in the SA music industry with his band, The Graeme Watkins Project. I’ve been working on a series of vlogs and podcasts and GWP happen to be one of the bands I talk about. Here is the official music video for ‘Music Affair‘ – my favorite song from these guys! I’ve had it on repeat the whole week to amp me up for tomorrow. It’s a pretty creative music video, too.
Anyway, moving on. Don’t you love the innocence of kids? Kids can really make the world such a happier place. Our neighbor was babysitting her three grandsons and I happened to go outside. They were just the cutest things ever. They reminded me of Alvin & The Chipmunks. They were seven, five and three years old. The three year old kept saying ‘excuse me’ or ‘sorry’ whenever he wanted to talk to me. They all kept talking in unison and gave me such a headache to be quite honest but I loved listening to them. They were telling me about dinosaurs and their ‘adventures’ with crocodiles.
What has been the craziest thing a kid has told you?
