Imagine Miley Cyrus calling you? I’m pretty sure you’d recognise her voice… and I am pretty sure that would never happen to me either because it’s kind of tricky to make a mistake with a country code in a number – ha ha. It would be pretty funny. I bet the celebrity would be thinking, ‘please, please do not recognise my voice and post my number online‘ – it happens.
Even if a celebrity were to phone me by accident, I most probably would never know – I’m known for never answering my phone! It’s always on silent or on vibrate (that’s on the rare occasion when I’m expecting a call!). Like, my mom is quite surprised how I am lucky enough to answer important calls in regard to media passes or interviews… well, I must have super powers for that! LOL. I should try answering my phone more often but I mean, it’s annoying. Normally calls are about getting people free tickets or people wanting me to help them. WOW. I also don’t like it when a number listed as ‘unknown’ calls me and leaves me ten missed calls… how do you expect me to phone back if your number is not listed?? Geez.
I’m expecting my media pass to arrive in the next week or two for the Deadmau5 concert. I’m so excited. Deadmau5 [pronounced: dead-mouse] – or his real name, Joel Thomas Zimmerman – is one of the best electro and house djs in the world! Don’t believe me? You’d better be typing his name into your Google search bar! He’s known for wearing a mouse head (hence, Deadmau5). He’s just uber-cool – you’ll find out more when I do my write-up after the event which is on the 2nd December – aaaaah, I am so excited! I’m just so frieken ecstatic that his South African tour dates include Durban – international artists only ever go to two cities; Cape Town and Johannesburg!
Continuing with my opening story, what would you say if a celebrity phoned you? Who would you love to accidentally call your number?
