Happy New Year! How long can I go through Jan and Feb sending good wishes for the year to others?

It's been a good start to the year from hanging out with my utmost favourite South African hip-hop star, Nomuzi "Moozlie" Mabena on the set of V-Entertainment to attending the launch of 1Magic - it's been a busy three weeks!

Remember to stick to your goals and remember what you'd like to achieve this year! It's not easy but the end goal is totally worth it.

Sending all the positivity,

What will Katy Perry perform in South Africa?

Aaah, Katy Perry is coming to South Africa! Big Concerts is bringing her Witness: The Tour experience to Johannesburg for two nights (18 and 20 July) and I am beyond excited! I'm a fellow Katy Kat - I think she's the perfect amount of sweet and sassy bundled up in one super creatively talented being.   There's still 173 days until the concert (I mean, not that anyone's counting) and I've already got all the Apple Music and YouTube playlists blasting! I've been looking through the average set list from the tour, and it has me hyped! All of my favourites are there and I bet it's going to be a blast!   I figured it would be great to share some of my favourites I can't wait to see her perform live - acoustic versions for some of these would be ideal! Unconditionally This is a song that would give me goosebumps if she did an acoustic...

Meeting Disney’s Descendants in South Africa

Surreal. That's the word I would use to describe meeting Disney Channel Original Movie stars Dove Cameron, Thomas Doherty and Cameron Boyce from Descendants 2. Sure, I'm still hung up about not getting any photos with them but I'm starting to think my fun conversation (AKA my interview) is still the best thing...

The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice I Review

Hello everyone! I’m very excited to sit down and finally write this because it means… I finally experienced Disney on Ice! Yup, after three consecutive years of missing it since moving to JHB, I can finally say I was able to watch the spectacular performance courtesy of Showtime Management.

It’s no surprise that I’m a massive Disney Devotee so when I was offered the opportunity to interview one of the performers and attend the opening night show, I jumped at the opportunity. I decided to take along two of my friends, Zuren and Rikashni who love Disney too. We had a total blast!

Interview I Konrad Giering from Disney on Ice

As you’re all well aware, I adore everything to do with Walt Disney… which includes all of the productions that come out from the House of Mousse. I knew I didn’t want to miss the Wonderful World of Disney on Ice when it toured South Africa (like I always do).

I was really interested to find out that there would be a South African couple a part of the production, Yolande and Konrad Giering. The two are the definition of a Disney love story: having met when they were little, fell in love and now ice skate together! Talk about adorable.

Let’s talk Disney on Ice

I'm finally breaking the curse of never being able to attend Disney on Ice. This year we're getting blessed with The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice coming to South Africa and I'm not going to miss it! I thought I'd share a few reasons I'm excited for the show this year as well as all the pricing details below. Frozen: I get emotional watching the ice performances on YouTube because it's so fitting! Frozen is dear to my heart and I'll possibly shed a tear when this part comes on. South African talent: yup, there is a South African couple in the production! Konrad and Yolande Giering are a part of the show and have the cutest story ever! I can't wait to share it with you when I interview them. I'm a Disney Devotee: I literally dedicate all of my time to Disney. From clothing to DVDs and video games and spin-offs, what aspect of Disney...

Queen Latifah and Common heading to South Africa

Queen Latifah and Common are heading to South Africa! Yes, you read right! You may have even heard by now, but you know me, I like to sit down with all the info and give it to you straight. They're heading here for an important reason and I've summarised it all in five quick points! Here's all you need to know about Queen Latifah and Common's trip here! I'm not too certain about interviews yet but if those happen, you can expect I'd like to get you guys involved with some questions! When and where? My hometown, Durban will play host to these two awesome people! They will be heading to SA in mid-July - looks as if Durban will be the place to be (as always) in July. Why? After 15 years, the International AIDS Conference (IAC) returns to South Africa this winter. In commemoration of this fact, and to help accelerate the fight...

Pinkprint Tour Experience & Meeting Nicki Minaj

Wow, is this real life? Am I sitting down to write this? I have to take several moments because I'm unsure. I shot a video for this, but the lighting was less than desirable towards the end. Naturally this was the night before going to China so I had no time to re-shoot. I've decided to shoot it again when I return because I honestly need you all to sit down and watch what I have to say because it's still so surreal. I'm going to do a quick overview of the Nicki Minaj concert. When I return expect a more detailed look. I can't leave without sharing some of my feelings - which, again, don't feel real. I hope you enjoy this. <3 The Pinkprint Concert I went to both Johannesburg shows - 17 and 18 March. For the first show I was Golden Circle - right by the rail! When Onika came...

Nicki Minaj is coming to South Africa

Remember that time I freaked out when Nicki Minaj was heading to SA for a music festival that never happened? Well, forget it. THE QUEEN IS OFFICIALLY COMING TO SOUTH AFRICA - and this time I'm 100% certain the event get cancelled because it's her The Pinkprint Tour! If you know me - or don't - chances are you are quite aware of my insane love for Onika Tanya Maraj. To this day, my love for her still puzzles many but I don't care. From makeup to nail polish to her perfumes, I literally own every piece of merchandise and album imaginable. Nicki is pretty much the only artist I so religiously spend my time and money on and have done since I was in high school back in 2009 (prior to her official 2010 debut). From Mixtape Minaj to worldwide Nicki, I've been through every sage of her career and...
