I'm so excited that we're in September! Warmer weather FTW!

I'm working on some cool things that I plan to launch in October so I'm really motivated to work and do what I love.

Other than the norm, I'm also going to dabble in some other areas that I've always had interests in but never really considered pursuing. You'll eventually see what it is and it's all really for fun and nothing else.

I hope you guys are just as motivated to work hard!

Stay great,

I’ll Keep This Memory On The Map I Trace

Um, I was born in 1993 so technically, I was a kid of the 90's and not a teen. It was only in 2006 did I turn 13 to officially be referred to as a teenager. Oh, I definitely was more like a toddler of the 90's. What a pity because the 90's seemed like a great time to be growing up in. Firstly, there was no advanced technology like we have now but the second - if not first - most important point is that all the best teen movies and shows were created and aired in the 90's. I'd love to watch them all over and over and over again. Oh my heck, do you remember the fashion of the 90's!? Pretty interesting. Teeny tiny buns that Miley Cyrus should try out, tight curls the Jersey Shore guys could sport, butterfly clips that everyone loved and printed tights and...

I’ll Be Heading To The July!

Hey guys! I hope you are all well. Did I tell you all that I moved desks at work? It's tricky to describe our floor plan, but I'll upload photos next week maybe. Basically, I'm loving how my new spot is so quiet and I'm able to be more focused. Though, I do miss the random conversations with my colleagues about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, but they've just forgotten about me so I've made peace with that...

Zara Media Launch

Guess what!? I've been invited to the media opening of Zara at Gateway here in Durban! I cannot wait - it is on Thursday! It is about time that Zara graced the mall floorings of Gateway with its clothing perfection. There was a Zara store opened in Jo'burg not long ago, but this is Durban's turn - took foreeever if you ask me. Every time people walk pass where the store will be and look at the construction walling up with the Zara logo, they literally sigh. I thought I'd share some pretty photos of the clothing Zara offers. My Feature Friday post this week will be about attending the event on Thursday. Excitement! Such pretty clothing awaits to be admired. Are you a Zara fan? Yes or no? Update: I am no longer going but will still update you guys on what I hear. I'm too burned out from work and am so tired to...

I’m In SEVENTEEN!

(Click on the above image to view it in a larger size - will upload the scan next week) Aaaaah, such excitement! I was interviewed by features intern at Seventeen magazine [South Africa], Samantha last year in October not long after my interview on 3Talk on SABC3. I was so surprised when she got into contact with me. Thank you, Sam! Ha ha, I've had to wait so long but it is worth the wait. I'm featured amongst two other awesome people. They wanted to know about how I got started and if I had any tips  for other people - pretty cool! So, if you are in SA - or the bordering countries of SA - go and pick up a copy of the March issue of Seventeen magazine! Also, my EXCLUSIVE interview with Cody Simpson comes out next week in the March issue of TeenZone magazine - I'm the first person in Africa...

‘If London is a watercolor, New York is an oil painting’

Blog post title, 'If London is a watercolor, New York is an oil painting' is a quote by Peter Shaffer - a British writer. Next year I want to save up to go to New York City.  I really, really really want to go so badly. I've never travelled overseas which makes it all the more scary to think about going alone. I don't know if my mom would want to go to NYC. I have so many friends there (and in New Jersey) who I want to meet. I also want to go and watch a taping of the Rachael Ray Show. I want to go and drink Starbucks and do every other tourist type activity in the city. So, wish me luck in saving for this over the next few months. A return ticket to NYC is about R8000 (US$1100)...

I Look Like A Roast Chicken

Oh wow, this is my first blog for December and as usual, I'm going to start off with my complaints. I'm so tired. This must have been the longest weekend of my life that just passed. Deadmau5 was awesome and Prime Circle yesterday was painful! Okay, let me rephrase the above; due to the insane heat and sun yesterday I got sun burnt. Seriously, I'm Indian for crying out loud and didn't think it would be THIS bad? I'm like 548574 shades darker and have a red tinge to my skin. I look so bad. It's so depressing.  I really just want it to fade away now and I will be so so happy. I don't like my skin complexion to be any darker than it should be. I look like a roast chicken - that's the best way to describe this - Like a Nando's chicken to be precise. Well,...

Right-Click & View

I wish I could really right-click someone's head, then I'd know why people are the way they are - maybe they were created in a silly .jpeg format instead of the perfect .png. I sometimes feel that I am surrounded by users; people who care very little about my existence but like to know me when they want something. From free concert tickets and merchandise to contact details and information. It can become so stressful and frustrating that it makes me want to just run away. It's so hard to near impossible to find people who are interested in being my friend for me as a person and not for what I do. I mean, sometimes I think that people are genuine at first but later they show their true colours. Recently, I've had such drama with a now ex-friend. I don't want to go into details but I was justified in my...

I’m Deaf From That ‘Music Affair’

Last night was fantastic! It really was a ton of fun and that was due to my great friends at the event. I had my friend, Gabi accompany me and I spotted a few people from Twitter and Erin and Holly were there, too. Erin was a part of media so it was fun getting footage with alongside her and she would randomly try to take a few photos of me - not as if I allowed her! Oh yeah, the title of this post relates to my current deaf state and 'Music Affair' is a popular single from The Graeme Watkins Project. A lot of you were a bit surprised by my previous post, it seems none of you gathered that I was a celebrity reporter, well...

A Music Affair

I have been waiting for the weekend to come since last Sunday evening - yes, that's how much I need the weekends to catch up on sleep or to do something not so ‘common’...

That Retro Feel

I'm attending the below, The Malibu FLOW Championships presented by the City of Durban. I'm so excited. Not too sure yet if I will be interviewing anyone, but I hope I will! I've just gotten word that I will be writing a weekly column - Oh Em Gee...
