It's May, my Birthday month! May tends to be such a reflective month and this year is no different.

I can't believe I'm 25 years old... 10 years ago at 15 I discovered my love for entertainment reporting and never looked back. It's crazy to look back to see what I've done and think of what I want to do.

25 is the age where I plan to focus on me, myself and I. I'm starting a new journey of becoming self-aware, more positive and living a more authentic life. I'm super keen to share everything on here.

Remain awesome,
Welcome! May is my Birthday month! Enjoy the content~

I Look Like A Roast Chicken

I Look Like A Roast Chicken

Oh wow, this is my first blog for December and as usual, I’m going to start off with my complaints. I’m so tired. This must have been the longest weekend of my life that just passed. Deadmau5 was awesome and Prime Circle yesterday was painful!

Okay, let me rephrase the above; due to the insane heat and sun yesterday I got sun burnt. Seriously, I’m Indian for crying out loud and didn’t think it would be THIS bad? I’m like 548574 shades darker and have a red tinge to my skin. I look so bad. It’s so depressing.Β  I really just want it to fade away now and I will be so so happy. I don’t like my skin complexion to be any darker than it should be. I look like a roast chicken – that’s the best way to describe this – Like a Nando’s chicken to be precise. Well, regardless of that, my interview with Prime Circle was awesome – can’t wait to upload it!
In the mean time… why not see my interview with The Graeme Watkins Project? They’re one of my fave South African bands <3 I love the founder and singer, Graeme Watkins πŸ˜€

I can’t wait to be on leave. Technically, I can’t wait for my long weekends. The company I work for does not close over a set period of time which kind of sucks but it can’t be helped. I’ve only been working here for under 6 months so don’t have much leave due to me. I took days off on like Fridays or Mondays to make for longer weekends instead of taking it all over one long period as my colleagues have done. I’m so clever… I tend to think. We are not going anywhere for Christmas so this just means I’ll be working and it will combat my boredom if I were at home.
This feels like such a short blog post.

Do you guys work? If yes, what work do you do and do you have leave for December? I’m seriously curious.

What a cool interview! I like the beginning!

Hahaha!!! I get sun burnt so often that I am used to it now πŸ˜›

I don’t have work yet. Still, a student πŸ™‚ but I want to experience working already =))

Have you tried aloe vera lotion? That should help with easing the pain of sunburn.

Very cool that you got to interview a well-known band! Great job! πŸ™‚ The opening music video kinda reminds me of old school Panic! At the Disco with the circus theme. I’ll have to look up some songs from The Graeme Watkins Project. That opening music video has me curious πŸ˜€

    P.S. Your accent is FABULOUS!

ahh, I get sun burned easily and it’s really painful; hence, I stay out of the sun as often as possible XD

But you’ll be back to your original skin color over time πŸ™‚

I don’t work because I’m trying to figure out how to manage that in with school work XD

Your voice sounds so adorable and fun! And I love your accent. Is it a South African accent? I really don’t hear those a lot so I’m not very familiar. My boyfriend use to live in South Africa as a kid and I believe he had their accent…until he moved to the U.S.!

Oh, and I’m sorry to hear about the sunburn. I’m sure the darker tan will go away eventually. πŸ˜€

Such an amazing interview! You did a great job and you sound so confident. I’m impressed. :3

I’m sorry you got burned. πŸ™ I don’t ever tan, and I just burn… so my skin doesn’t really get darker. I don’t mind though because I don’t like getting a tan. Looks like we have a bit in common there. You must be getting our heat though, because in Australia it’s supposed to be summer and instead we’re getting cold and rain. I don’t mind though, I hate the heat. xD It gets pretty hot in Australia.

I’m not going anywhere for Christmas… sometimes my family and I go to Indonesia to see relatives. But we’re not this year, so looks like I’ll be working. I think I only get two weeks off from work.

I thought the topic is about food XD, about your question, I work as an employee in an R&D company and yes I still have work leave, but I rather covert them to cash next month ,hehe

Due to part-time business… I don’t get leave. Not that I have a ton of orders for jewelry… But I never get leave. Am always doing something FOR the business, so like advertising or whatever.
