Time for the peak of Summer and Christmas πŸŽ„!

I sometimes wish we had Winter like the Northern countries to really enjoy Christmas with all the warm, spicy flavours we see in drinks and food... but it's okay, we'll swap gingerbread cookies for ice cold mocktails!

As we wind down to the end of the year, it's the perfect time to reflect on what 2018 was - or wasn't - as we gear up for 2019. I don't know about you but I wasn't the hugest fan of 2018, but I'm keen to see what the New Year brings.

I hope you guys are working on what you're passionate about - something I'm trying to achieve again.

Stay merry,

I hope you're listening to all the Mariah Carey songs πŸŽ„ ~

Mango Durban Store Launch

Mango Durban Store Launch

Image

Last night I attended the Mango store launch with my sister (who was DJing at the event). It was super exciting because this was the first store to open in the province of KwaZulu-Natal – yay! I’m not going to lie, I was a bit confused at first because the store actually opened on Monday yet last night was an event opened to the public – I guess there is more to it than meets the eye so I won’t delve on that too much… but I’m pretty sure a handful of people came through only for the free food. Ha ha.

I loved being able to take a look at the clothing more closely than I’d normally would and capture the beauty of each item’s detail. The prices are not bad at all; I believe in paying good money for quality so they sure do deliver on that. I fell in love with the bags and scarves – I know what I’m getting myself for Christmas! I really am so happy that this Spanish brand has landed in Durban, it’s a must-shop destination for any fashion concious girl.

Below are a few photos I took – enjoy!

Wah! Your sister’s a DJ!? so cool *o* when I was younger, I’ve always wanted to be a DJ then I thought about how I can’t stand noisy places lol so nah πŸ˜›
I’m not a shopaholic or a sucker for clothes but I kind of like Mango. For some reason, it reminds me of Forever 21 and I like their collection πŸ˜€ plus, their prices are still tolerable for a poor college student’s budget haha. I remember browsing through every angle of Mango’s shop when there’s a sale going on haha.

Ah! Mango! Such a great store πŸ™‚ It reminds me of ZARA (which is like my FAVORITE store ever. Also, it is cool that you are from SA! One of my best friends is from JB. I hope I can visit SA one day!

Question: How come they let you take photos in the store? Or is it because it was the opening night?

I got a lace dress that looks just the same on the 3rd photo. Aside from F21, Mango is indeed one of my stores to shop clothes.
