We're in April and my mind can't comprehend where all the time has gone by! Seriously, what happened?

Things have been quiet on here as work has been quite busy. I'm hoping to be able to share all the deets from June once everything has settled.

I've been focusing on positive changes and choosing what makes me happy over what doesn't these days. I'm planning to share some of these experiences and thoughts soon.

Keep shining bright,

Our DIY Disney dog kennel

Our DIY Disney dog kennel

Yes guys, I painted a dog kennel inspired by Disney! Technically inspied by their Disney Junior show, Doc McStuffins, it was amazing to be able to be a part of something so fun and great!

Basically, we had to get creative and paint a dog house which Disney would hand over to a local SPCA. We jumped at the chance of this fun project – creativity and animals, what a great combo. We were given a ton of supplies such as paint and stencils to create a uniquely designed house for a little cute furry four-legged friend.

We headed over to Wilma’s place – where she has the most beautiful dogs, cats and a pig – to work on the project. We bought tons of pizza and snacks. We started a bit later than expected but it was worth every bit of effort involved! Instead of writing about the experience, I shot a little vlog which you can see below.

We also took some photos – though I was not around on the day the photos were taken – to shared of the completed dog kennel. Check them out below after the jump!

Wilma, Yentl and myself had a ton of fun painting and decorating the dog kennel for Disney Junior and Doc McStuffins. Thank you Disney Africa for allowing us to be involved in something simply so wonderful!
