We're in April and my mind can't comprehend where all the time has gone by! Seriously, what happened?

Things have been quiet on here as work has been quite busy. I'm hoping to be able to share all the deets from June once everything has settled.

I've been focusing on positive changes and choosing what makes me happy over what doesn't these days. I'm planning to share some of these experiences and thoughts soon.

Keep shining bright,

Welcome! Posts will become more frequent from April =)

Hello all! It’s Spring which means moods are elevated and a sense of motivation is in the air. As corny as it is, the change of seasons sure does allow for a shift in perspective. Normally for myself it means I tend to be a lot more productive as days become longer with the sun rising before 06:30 and setting after 18:30.

Anyway, it’s time to share some photos from the week. Not many, but it was a fun week nonetheless.Β

  1. 2017 Disney Content Showcase: The Walt Disney Company Africa never disappoint at their showcases. These events give us a quick snapshot into the world of Disney (local and abroad) for the next year and few years after. Fom the absolutely adorable food, awesome merch and sneak peeks, it was a blast. It’s always great to catch up with industry friends I haven’t seen in a while and geek out about the house of mouse!

2. Nicki Minaj x MAC Cosmetics: I caved – of course – and bought the Nicki Minaj x MAC Cosmetics collection. Part of a nude lipstick range, the packaging is so pretty and everything! There are two lipsticks in the range: The Pink Print and Nicki’s Nude – I on;y got Nicki’s Nude. I’m glad I bought this in person because I nearly bought these online but it turns out the pink-toned lipstick doesn’t suit my skin at all – sigh.

3. Pumpkin Spice Frappes: I missed this last year so I had to have it this time around! I finally understand the hype around these: it’s incredible! It’s weird drinking this autumn drink in spring, but regardless the warm wind in the air paired with it nicely. I even had some really nice mini pumpkin pie Danish pastries. Yum!

4. Music: the songs I like to listen to in spring tend to be very chilled sounds. What I’m really enjoying right now is Lorde’s album Melodrama. One of my favourite tracks on repeat at the moment has to be Homemade Dynamite.

Have a great week guys!
