How are we already halfway through 2021!? I don't know about anyone else, but my brain refuses to understand the notion of time anymore.

How are you planning to spend the rest of the year? I like to use June as a way to reflect and figure out the plan for the next half of the year, and it'll be the same this year. I may share some of my planning and thoughts along the way along with new projects and happenings too.

A Music Affair

A Music Affair

I have been waiting for the weekend to come since last Sunday evening – yes, that’s how much I need the weekends to catch up on sleep or to do something not so β€˜common’… my celebrity reporting. Sometimes I wonder if I have a life outside of my day job and celebrity stalking – oh, I mean reporting. The answer? Simply put, no. This is all I know and thank the Pope it is a social activity otherwise I may need to have some people book me into a treatment resort far, far away to be checked up on.

One of the guys I am quite excited to meet tomorrow at the concert is surprisingly not the Locnville twins but rather the amazing guys that form The Graeme Watkins Project – mainly Graeme himself. Graeme was the runner-up of Idols: Season 5. He vowed to return to the stage and boy has he done just that! Since his Idols experience about two years ago he has definitely blown up in the SA music industry with his band, The Graeme Watkins Project. I’ve been working on a series of vlogs and podcasts and GWP happen to be one of the bands I talk about. Here is the official music video for ‘Music Affair‘ – my favorite song from these guys! I’ve had it on repeat the whole week to amp me up for tomorrow. It’s a pretty creative music video, too.

Anyway, moving on. Don’t you love the innocence of kids? Kids can really make the world such a happier place. Our neighbor was babysitting her three grandsons and I happened to go outside. They were just the cutest things ever. They reminded me of Alvin & The Chipmunks. They were seven, five and three years old. The three year old kept saying ‘excuse me’ or ‘sorry’ whenever he wanted to talk to me. They all kept talking in unison and gave me such a headache to be quite honest but I loved listening to them. They were telling me about dinosaurs and their ‘adventures’ with crocodiles.

What has been the craziest thing a kid has told you?

That’s so fun to be pumped up for a cool event. I need more of a life outside my hobby. While web design does have an aspect of socialization for me, I still keep to myself a lot.
I don’t know that I know any crazy stories from kids since the last time I hung around 3 year olds was when I was three. πŸ™‚ But I like when siblings have the same interests and talk in unison like that. Me and my sister do it all the time.

Thanks! I’m glad you like my layout.

wait a minute.. You’re a REPORTER!? o.O wow. okay. I feel stupid. I just know you’re a reporter when it’s actually clearly shown on your sidebar. /lame. anyways, seems like you have a cool life outside of the boundary in your room, lol. unlike me who’s all stuck and being a shut in almost 24/7, haha!

(re: your comment on my post)
maybe some people think that calling themselves “writer” when they actually don’t really qualify as one is a cool thing. bleh. idk. people think random things are cool nowadays 8D

eh? you call my videos well? hahaha. thank you very much, I’m flattered! 8D but those were really simple videos with only some colorings and then flash here and there. it’s simple really πŸ™‚ all you need to do is get familiar with the movie editing software πŸ˜€

Being a celebrity reporter is pretty cool. I really wish I could try having that as a job but it’s too far away from my field. Lol. Unless I got great deal of networks ad contacts.

I’m not really a fan of kids so I don’t find them that amusing. I fond most of them annoying and a few, that can be counted with my fingers, adorable. But the craziest thing a kid has told me is to get her a glass of water. She said this exact line, “Can you get me a glass of water?” Hearing her ordering me to get her a glass of water made me feel like a waitress!

Hey michelle! It must great getting to interview famous people all the time πŸ˜€ i admire your job haha! But i know what you mean. It gets hard to find down time sometimes because work can get really busy. Hmm the craziest thing a kid has said to me before? I’m not really sure if they’ve ever said anything too crazy but most are really cute and adorable. These days, the kids have tons of energy! You’d think by 12am they’d be tired..but they aren’t πŸ™‚ Most draw really funny pictures for me or attempt to draw me which ends up looking really funny :p

KIDS! i love kids! hahaha! Especially that i have my own now. They are just so adorable.

I’ve been wanting to be an interviewer. I wanna know a lot about someone I am so curious about. I wish to have the courage to them one day. I just wish!!!

I’ve been wanting to paint my walls light green, since I had my walls pink for 2 years. :/

Yup, weekends are great; especially a thanksgiving weekend. So thankful I have a chance for a long weekend, you? You’re probably going to have a great time meeting Graeme. Wait, you’re a celebrity reporter? that’s so cool. Don’t you have a great time meeting different celebrities? I always wanted to meet Selena Gomez but I never did. I’m not close to finishing school yet, but that job seems amazing. Don’t you love the feeling of excitement the day before meeting your hero? =]

What has been the craziest thing a kid has told you?- A kid last year told me about her green pet dinosaur. I asked, “is it real?” and she nodded. Wow. She talked about the dinosaur for a really long time and I was going to fall asleep. Haha. I personally don’t like younger kids; they whine too much and it drives me nuts instantly. I don’t mind the quiet 9 year olds. Haha.
