How are we already halfway through 2021!? I don't know about anyone else, but my brain refuses to understand the notion of time anymore.

How are you planning to spend the rest of the year? I like to use June as a way to reflect and figure out the plan for the next half of the year, and it'll be the same this year. I may share some of my planning and thoughts along the way along with new projects and happenings too.

Bloom and Fab! on 4th Avenue in Parkhurst

I wanted to title this Life Through My Phone, but is it if it only comprises of four photos? Those are the important questions, but let’s be honest… I just want to talk about the two cute places I visited recently.

I recently went for a little (read: long) catch up with a friend and we ended up going to two super cute places on 4th Avenue in Parkhurst – literally littered with adorable places to visit.

Bloom

If you’re looking to feel like you’re in a South Korean-type cafe, this is the place! Bloom doesn’t have the most extensive menu but what they do offer is great. I love that they even have cornered off areas if you’re like to work and not be disturbed by the sound. It’s ideal to come here for breakfast or brunch and expect to want to take photos EVERYWHERE.

Fab! Cafe & Gelato

Obviously we weren’t done eating and ended it off with some waffles and ice-cream in an Italian-inspired spot. It was so cute and the desserts were absolutely lovely. The ice-cream is so creamy and waffles are so fresh – it’s literally such a perfect spot to just eat something sweet and chat. I really did feel like I got transported elsewhere when I was here.

My new goal is to try all the little places in Parkhurst! I even saw a cafe that looked like it was a tiny forest and I’m here for it.
