How are we already halfway through 2021!? I don't know about anyone else, but my brain refuses to understand the notion of time anymore.

How are you planning to spend the rest of the year? I like to use June as a way to reflect and figure out the plan for the next half of the year, and it'll be the same this year. I may share some of my planning and thoughts along the way along with new projects and happenings too.

Best Lyrics From #DWTDTAOSO By Demi Lovato

To no one’s surprise, I’m here to share my favourite lyrics from Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over by Demi Lovato. As I’ve been saying across social media, this album is her best body of work to date – a literal masterpiece. It makes sense that I’m here to pay homage to it. It’s therapeutic album both for Demi, as well as us listening to it relating it to our own experiences.

My Life Right Now

Hello everyone! I often like to have these summary posts of my life as a nice way to reflect back on life. I’ve taken a couple of days off to reenergise and rest, so you can best believe I’ve spent the time doing all my fave things. It’s always important to take a step back and do the things you enjoy for instant happiness.

How To Order K-Pop Albums & Merch in South Africa

If you’re reading this it’s either because I posted a link, or you’re searching for how to order K-Pop albums and merchandise in South Africa… and I can guess what the answer is. Are you completely deep in the Korean Pop music scene and want to do your part towards owning some merch and repping your faves? Whether you’re a BTS Army, BLACKPINK Blink, Twice Once or one of CL’s GZBs (I see you BlackJacks), I’ve got you covered. I low key wish I had this 10 years ago when 2NE1 stole my heart and introduced me to this world.

What You Can Learn from CL’s Comeback

Guess who’s back! CL… and me with a podcast episode inspired by her return! Yes guys, it’s been an entire minute and Chaerin’s the reason why. In this episode I react to her HWA and 5 STAR comeback and what that meant for me watching her embark on a new era in her musical career.

Interesting Reads

I always love seeing what pieces of content people are enjoying – mainly their daily reads. While blogs may not be as prevalent as they used to be, I still enjoy the ritual of scrolling through articles and reading the ones that stand out. One of my goals for 2020 was to be more intentional with content I consume – I want to take in more interesting, informative pieces of text.

I thought today would be ideal to share some (of many) favourites that I often visit for insightful reading or a dose of inspo.

What to know about Disney’s Aladdin in 2019

I’m re-listening to the Aladdin soundtrack for the live action movie as I write this. Aladdin is in my top three favourite Disney movies – I wrote about it back in 2015. I will be honest, I had my expectations a little low for this Disney reboot mainly because Aladdin sits close and dear to my heart and I didn’t want to be disappointed. I would re-watch the original several times a day; played the Gameboy game over and over and always watched the animated cartoon series after school.

BTS of the Roast of AKA

Oh hi, hey, hello! Where have I been lost? Busy at work surprisingly. Things have changed quite a lot since last year, which is the main reason for my silence. It seems every year something or the other creeps up which takes my attention away, but this year I want to put triple the effort into balancing everything. I think this would be the most pivotal time in my life to document the happenings, changes and learnings… so why not do it here? At least it’ll be a lot better than going back in time to what I wrote in 2011 (what a cringe fest!).

4 Reasons to watch Raven’s Home

Season two of Raven’s Home is nearly here – starting on Monday 8 October at 16:50 on Disney Channel (DStv Channel 303). I’ve adored this show just as much as I did That’s So Raven and I can’t wait for the second season. I think the excitement is fuelled by having met Raven-Symoné – a Disney channel icon! Hearing her talk about the show and also realising how sweet and down-to-earth she is just got me in my own bubble of happiness.

While I could go on and on about Raven, I did so here and plan  to in a video one day soon, but I’m here to tell you why you shouldn’t miss Raven’s Home!

Meeting Raven-Symoné

Rae was here for a press tour because Raven’s Home has a second season premiering on Disney Channel on DStv Channel 303 on Monday 8 October at 16:50.
