How To Order K-Pop Albums & Merch in South Africa
If you’re reading this it’s either because I posted a link, or you’re searching for how to order K-Pop albums and merchandise in South Africa… and I can guess what the answer is. Are you completely deep in the Korean Pop music scene and want to do your part towards owning some merch and repping your faves? Whether you’re a BTS Army, BLACKPINK Blink, Twice Once or one of CL’s GZBs (I see you BlackJacks), I’ve got you covered. I low key wish I had this 10 years ago when 2NE1 stole my heart and introduced me to this world.
Yes, you can order albums and merch from overseas and have it shipped to South Africa, but sometimes you don’t want to deal with the hassle of delivery – mainly customs. Well, thanks to Fei over at Qute & Quirky, the stress is a thing of the past. Q&Q pretty much does everything for you and all you have to do is place an order and she’ll do the rest!
Basically, Qute & Quirky sells brand new albums, some merch and even second-hand items at a fraction of the original cost. What’s nice is that more often than not, Fei will stock the most popular groups and solo artists’ albums and have it shipped to SA much faster than buying from other places. I figured instead of writing an essay, let me do a quick FAQ based on my experience from buying through Qute & Quirky on www.quteandquirky.co.za.
What does Qute & Quirky sell?
Q&Q mainly sell K-Pop albums and select merchandise, including light sticks.
Does she sell throughout South Africa? Does she have a physical shop?
Yes, she sells across SA. In terms of a physical store, no, but Fei does have a pop up shop she says will be happening once a month.
Does Qute & Quirky sell BTS albums and merch?
Yes, Q&Q sells BTS albums, light sticks and some other items like puzzles and BT21 products to make your Army heart happy!
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Costs vary based on albums and such, but it’s on par if not sometimes cheaper than ordering overseas on your own. Due to COVID-19, delivery times for new orders of albums coming into the country take longer, but anything she has stock of has a reasonable waiting period.
Are the albums legit and real?
Yes, they all! All albums are sealed and in perfect condition.
Can I request an item that is not listed?
I haven’t, but I’m sure you can ask Fei to see if she can work her magic!
