How are we already halfway through 2021!? I don't know about anyone else, but my brain refuses to understand the notion of time anymore.

How are you planning to spend the rest of the year? I like to use June as a way to reflect and figure out the plan for the next half of the year, and it'll be the same this year. I may share some of my planning and thoughts along the way along with new projects and happenings too.

I’m Deaf From That ‘Music Affair’

I’m Deaf From That ‘Music Affair’

Last night was fantastic! It really was a ton of fun and that was due to my great friends at the event. I had my friend, Gabi accompany me and I spotted a few people from Twitter and Erin and Holly were there, too. Erin was a part of media so it was fun getting footage with alongside her and she would randomly try to take a few photos of me – not as if I allowed her! Oh yeah, the title of this post relates to my current deaf state and ‘Music Affair‘ is a popular single from The Graeme Watkins Project.

A lot of you were a bit surprised by my previous post, it seems none of you gathered that I was a celebrity reporter, well… I like that. The less people know the better I feel – I’m weird. So anyway, the concert was after the flow championships which is this international surfing competition and there was even American media there! Gabi and I had to wear red wristbands to show that we were a part of media and we were allowed into the VIP area plus backstage. When I was standing waiting for the concert to start I noticed a few people looking at me and it looked as if they recognised me. I tend to get that if I tweet a lot about a certain event. People have started to notice I’m the short teen girl who interviews people :p ha ha ha

Below are a few photos. I’m so obsessed with Graeme Watkins – it’s a shame, really. He’s the guy in the third photo and the guy on the far right side in the photo of me with the awesome guys from The Graeme Watkins Project:

I’m so short – my mother pointed this out. How sad. Anyway, I love Graeme Watkins (the last guy on the right). OMG, he is so amazing! Gabi sat through the interview and after she said she could see how passionate I am about this celebrity reporting thing – that was her first times watching me conduct an interview.  It was such a great concert! I cannot wait to upload the videos to YouTube. I’m a bit obsessed with Black&White photography now – it instantly adds more emotion to a photo, don’t you agree?

What has been your most memorable concert to attend?

PS: I updated my Press page 😀

I am happy that you and your friends had fun from the event! I never heard of Music Affair before :O! But I haven’t really bothered listening to new music these days 😛

The fewer less people you know, the better you feel? Isn’t that a contradiction of what you’re supposed to do? 😛 I wonder how you can get all of those cool priviledges to go backstage and so :O!

Being short isn’t bad. I’m 5’0 and what? It’s nothing that bad :P! And it’s good that you’re passionate about what you do!

I don’t like going to concerts so I don’t really have any memorable concerts 🙁

    Take care(:

You are too blessed!! You have a very interesting job. 🙂

It is pretty awesome that you’re a reporter. 😀 It sounds like you had a great time and that people find you pretty approachable and a good character – something that is a huge plus for what you’re doing. 😀

Also, don’t worry about being short. I’m pretty short myself and sometimes it has its advantages.

I’ve been doing traditional black and white photography for about six months now and I really enjoy it. It’s hard to get the midtones right when you do your own printing, but it depends… digital does everything for you now anyway.

omg. that’s one of the best perks of being a reporter! 🙂 It’s totally cool that you get to meet a lot of famous people. 🙂

btw, check out my latest post! 🙂

You’re not short, they’re abnormally tall. (problem solved)
