How are we already halfway through 2021!? I don't know about anyone else, but my brain refuses to understand the notion of time anymore.

How are you planning to spend the rest of the year? I like to use June as a way to reflect and figure out the plan for the next half of the year, and it'll be the same this year. I may share some of my planning and thoughts along the way along with new projects and happenings too.

My Life Right Now

Hello everyone! I often like to have these summary posts of my life as a nice way to reflect back on life. I’ve taken a couple of days off to reenergise and rest, so you can best believe I’ve spent the time doing all my fave things. It’s always important to take a step back and do the things you enjoy for instant happiness.

I still can’t believe we’re about to embark on one year of a lockdown/national state of disaster status. What even is life, right? I’m trying to take it slow, because work is quite hectic at the moment. I’m thinking of creating a post or video speaking about the importance of keeping a balance, but for now here’s a quick recap of my life right now.

IMG_8877I’ve been re-watching Winx Club since December, and now I just ended season 6. I still have a couple of seasons and spin-offs to go, but the instant happiness this brings is something I can’t describe. Also, how cute are these items from the Disney Princess and Villains collection from sister brands Essence and Catrice? We stan.

IMG_8878Okay can we appreciate my custom and official k-pop photo cards please? I have CL, BTS and BLACKPINK decorating the one side of my desk, I’m working on getting some Disney, anime and cartoon prints on the other side. A balance of aesthetics. When I’m not working from home, Starbucks is a go-to because the way they’re handling social distancing is greatly appreciated.

IMG_8876Thanks to Winx Club, I was re-inspired to draw. Winx and Disney heavily inspired my art style, so no surprise the show gives me motivation. I’ve been between traditional drawing and using Procreate on my iPad. I share a lot of the WIP pieces on my Instagram, by the way.

Here’s hoping you’re well, safe and staying great~
